Local prospecting works better as a repeatable system than as a large one-time search. A simple weekly routine keeps the lead quality visible and makes it easier to improve your targeting over time.
Define one weekly segment
Choose a category, place, and qualification rule for the week. Write the rule down before searching so the team evaluates every result consistently.
An example segment might be independent home-service businesses in one city with recent reviews, no owned website, and a public contact route.
Review before enriching
Scan the initial results and remove duplicates, closed businesses, and listings that do not fit the offer. Keep a short reason for approving each lead. That reason can later become the basis for personalized outreach.
Enrich in batches
Enrich only the approved list. Small batches make it easier to spot data-quality issues and avoid spending credits on weak records.
Create an outreach checkpoint
Before sending anything, check that each message answers three questions:
- Why this business?
- Why this problem now?
- What is the smallest useful next step?
Keep the call to action proportional. A quick question or a short review is usually easier to respond to than a large commitment.
Review outcomes every week
Track which segments create replies and useful conversations. Adjust the next search based on evidence instead of increasing volume by default.
See the outreach workflow and build a process that stays connected from search to contact.
