What a lead contains

A lead may include a business name, category, public location, rating, phone, email, social profiles, and website assessment. The available fields differ between businesses.

State

Meaning

Available

Dotless found an eligible public contact that can be unlocked.

Unlocked

The contact has been revealed and can be used by supported workflows.

Not available

Dotless could not confidently return a usable contact.

Needs review

The lead requires manual qualification before outreach.

Unlock contact data

Unlocking a contact the search already returned does not cost a further credit, because one credit was spent when that contact was searched. Choose the contact action on a lead to see the type of information that may be revealed, and unlock after reviewing the business identity, location, and fit for your offer.

Locked email and phone values are not sent to CRM integrations. They become eligible for sync only after a user unlocks them in Dotless.

Use the pipeline

Pipeline stages make follow-up explicit. Move a lead as its status changes, for example from new to contacted to qualified, then filter the list by stage and category.

Import, export, and deletion

  • Import leads when you already have a list to manage in Dotless.

  • Export workspace records when you need a portable copy for an authorized business workflow.

  • Deleting a lead removes it from Dotless but does not remove copies previously sent to a connected CRM.
