What Dotless is

What is Dotless?

Dotless is a prospecting tool for finding local businesses that have no website and contacting them. One workflow covers the whole sequence: search public local listings filtered for businesses with no first-party website, review the results, unlock contact details for the ones worth approaching, and send an email sequence from your own mailbox. It is built for freelancers, web studios and agencies who sell services to local businesses.

How does Dotless find businesses without websites?

A search combines a geographic area with business filters (location or map area, categories, minimum rating, and result amount) and returns matching public business listings. The "without a website" control prioritises businesses for which Dotless did not identify a current first-party website. Detection discounts directory pages, booking platforms, social profiles, unrelated businesses and inactive sites where possible, because those otherwise count as a website while leaving the business without one of its own.

How many businesses can one search return?

Up to 500 per search. You pick the area on the map and set the filters, and the result amount you request is what the search costs: one credit per contact searched. Only one search runs in a workspace at a time; the progress screen shows the current stage and an estimated remaining time, and how long it actually takes depends on the size and density of the area.

Pricing and credits

How much does Dotless cost?

Dotless has a free tier and three paid plans, priced in euros excluding VAT: Starter at €9 per month, Pro at €29, and Agency at €99. Billed annually the effective monthly rate is €7, €23 and €79. The free tier includes 5 credits and needs no credit card.

What is a Dotless credit?

One credit is one contact searched. You pick an area on the map, set the filters, and each contact the search returns draws one credit, so a search for 50 contacts costs 50 credits. Revealing a contact the search already found costs nothing further; the credit is spent by the search, not by the unlock. Plans include 50 credits per month on Starter, 250 on Pro and 1000 on Agency, and the workspace balance is shown before any credit-using action is confirmed. One-time credit packs can be bought without changing the plan.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The free tier includes 5 credits, five contacts, and does not require a credit card. Website credits, which the AI website builder uses, are a separate allowance and are not included on the free tier or on Starter.

Outreach and email

Can I send emails from my own address?

Yes. Dotless sends from a mailbox you connect: Gmail, Outlook, or any provider over SMTP with settings you supply. A workspace uses one active sender at a time. Dotless does not read your mailbox. Gmail uses the gmail.send permission and Outlook uses Mail.Send, and it does not request mail-read access, import the inbox, or monitor replies.

More detail

Is there a limit on how many emails I can send?

Dotless does not apply a separate email-send count cap on paid plans. Your mail provider's own sending limits, deliverability rules and anti-abuse safeguards still apply, and those are the practical ceiling: sending through Gmail means Gmail's limits govern the volume, not Dotless.

Which CRMs does Dotless integrate with?

Four: HubSpot (companies and eligible contacts), Attio (companies and eligible people), Salesforce (accounts and eligible contacts), and HighLevel (eligible leads in one business account). CRM integrations require an active Pro or Agency subscription plus workspace owner access; Starter can see the providers but cannot connect one.

Websites and data

What is the AI website builder?

A way to generate a website for a qualified lead from inside Dotless, so a prospect with no site can be shown one. It is included with Pro and Agency and uses a separate allowance called website credits: 50 per month on Pro and 200 on Agency. Starter does not include any. Generated content needs reviewing before it is shared, because names, claims, contact details and legal text can be incomplete or incorrect.

Where does the business data come from, and is that allowed?

Dotless searches public business listings, the same information a person browsing a map would see. Prospect data handling, what is collected about businesses that never became customers, and how removal requests work are documented on the prospect privacy page, and Dotless publishes a DPA and a subprocessor list alongside it.
